I have always been fascinated with light and to be able to capture it on a two dimensional surface has been a life long endeavour. I find watercolour=s transparency, fluidity and fast drying properties a perfect medium for this quest. Whether trying to capture a gray or rainy day; that elusive late afternoon glow or the brightness of the noonday sun, light will always play an important roll in my painting regardless of subject matter.
